I built it out of cherry and it was my first furniture build before this i only did craft projects like clocks and scrollsaw fretwork. 5 dreamy designs for a diy crib want the perfect place for a new baby to bed down. To my relief the standards for making a crib were actually pretty straightforward. When the paint is fully dry and the crib is completely assembled it s completely ready as a safe and pleasant place for a new baby. Drill pocket holes though the cleats and secure them to the frame with 1 1 4 screws. I would rather have made this as a christmas gift but the baby is due in like 2 weeks.
